Elagabalus, 218 - 222 AD
AE 28 of Berytus, Phoenicia

Bust right / Arched entryway to a sanctuary

Comment- According to the CNG description, this reverse shows a statue of the satyr Marsyas, two altars, and a figure riding a lion above the arch.

Septimius Severus, 193 - 211 AD
AE 28 of Zela, Pontus

Bust right / Tetrastyle temple with arched pediment

Comment- Nice brassy surface on this coin from a scarce city in Pontus. After winning a military battle at Zela in 47 BC, Julius Caesar sent a simple but powerful message back to Rome -- VENI, VIDI, VICI -- I came, I saw, I conquered.

Trajan, 98 - 117 AD
AE 31 of Caesarea Maritima, Samaria

Laureate bust right / Temple with 4 columns and arched roof, Tyche within

Comment- The temple has Corinthian columns. Tyche has right foot on prow, and is holding a standard and a human bust. There is an altar in the recess and a half-figure of a god to the right. Many interesting details on this huge coin!
